Of the many personal development books on attracting money I have read, I have found a common theme on the basics of money attraction. Similarly, when you go online and search on the same subject, the same tips will be found.
So what is the fundamental foundation to attract money and wealth? It is your thinking and mindset that will set the stage for attracting money. So in order to be able to attract money naturally, you must learn how to use mindset to attract money.
You need to train your mind into believing that you already have what you wanted, and then your life will miraculously change to reflect your new belief. The following attracting money mindset tips may sound like mumbo jumbo hocus pocus to you, but they are common refrains from great money making gurus. They constantly repeat these 5 tips to train their mind to attract wealth and money.
Tip 1 - Act and behave like you are already rich. You must act and believe you have always wanted is already yours. In this instance, it is money. So act as if you already have the money you wish to have. Ask yourself, if I am already rich, what would I do, how would I act, how would I feel, and then act, feel and do it.
By behaving and acting rich, you are teaching your mind that you are expanding your limitations, and as you practice this you will begin to purchase more of the things you want in your life and the money will come to you to pay for them. Want to be rich, then do this. This is the law of the universe.
Tip 2 - Be thankful and show gratitude for any money you receive. To attract money, you must show gratitude for the money which is already in your life. Instead of complaining how little money you have, be grateful that you already have money and will have more and give thanks to God or whatever greater power you believe in.
The next time when you get some money, instead of barely noticing it, take a few moments to give thanks to the universe or God for bringing this money into your wallet or bank account. Every time you receive your paycheck or every time you earned some money do stop and appreciate the fact that money is flowing into your life. By being grateful for money flowing to you, more money will be attracted to you.
Tip 3 - Find a dime on the sidewalk, keep it.In order to attract money into your life, your subconscious mind must be open to the idea of money flowing to you. You must be open and receptive to any money coming to you from any moral source. If you see a dime on the street, and your usual reaction is probably to ignore it. By doing that, you are teaching your subconscious mind that you are not willing to put out effort for money.
Your subconscious mind cannot distinguish between a dime and a million bucks. All that your mind registers is how you feel and that thought will be stashed somewhere in your subconscious mind that you do not want to attract money.
This mindset can also come in many other forms such as whenever you do not accept a gift or do not charge someone for work done or charge them way less than you should be or you sell a product for less than it is worth, you are creating the same emotions. So if you want to attract money, you must accept the money that is rightfully yours including that dime on the street.
Tip 4 - Be open to money making opportunities
Ask yourself this question. Why it is rich people always have money making opportunities and that you don't? The answer is that you are simply not looking for opportunities hard enough or when opportunities come along, you are too lazy to take them or are even skeptical.
The difference between rich and poor people is that rich people realize that new opportunities are always all around them. You simply need to keep a look out for the opportunities, keep an open mind, and be prepared to take advantage when the opportunity comes knocking and do open the door when opportunities knock. In this way, you will attract wealth and money naturally.
Someone once said, luck is when opportunity meets preparation. If you want to find money making opportunities in your life then you must be prepared to take advantage of them when they come. By doing so, you will be blessed with more incredible luck than you have ever experienced. Still skeptical? If you are, then you will hardly have any money making opportunies.
Tip 5 - Do something that makes you feel good
Do something that makes you feel good? I can hear you say that I don't have to tell you this. Everyone also wants to do things that make them feel good. When you feel good, your energy and mood rises, you will feel optimistic and positive and these attitudes will attract more of the things into your life which make you feel good such as money and wealth.
Now that you know the mindset on how to attract wealth and money, keep these money making mindset tips in your mind and act on them daily. After a few weeks or months, just sit back and watch more and more money flowing to you.

Dr John Demartini, The Secret And Transformation
Dr. John Demartini, THE SECRET, and Transforming the World
A One on One Interview
Part I
On November 2nd Dr John Demartini appeared as a panel guest on The Larry King Show called “Beyond Positive Thinking.” In a highly simplified explanation the panel discussed how people could truly alter their reality through techniques presented in the world-wide film phenomena, The Secret. Saying that these techniques are based upon true science and not fantasy, the panelists discussed the notion that each person has the scientifically proven ability to alter their physical, mental and emotional reality in order to manifest their own desires. From curing diseases, finding soul-mates, the perfect job to attaining wealth, no aspect of one’s life is beyond the capacity of the mind, with the help of the Universe, to manifest its desires. The show was a success; a second show was presented on November16th and subsequent shows on the same topic have been planned.
After the show I wrote an article for The American Chronicle and several blogs which asked the question, “If this information was accurate, why do people live such miserable lives?” As a life long student of mysticism I firmly believe in the principles discussed on the show and presented in the film and, for that matter, presented in my co-authored book, WAKING GOD. However, I felt that a key topic was missing in the discussion and my article went on to present my own theories as to the greatest impediment that confronts humanity in utilizing these principles (See 11/6 article at http://www.americanchronicle.com). The article was read by Dr. Demartini and his publicist, Cloud Nine Marketing and I received an email from Cloud Nine asking if I wanted to do an interview with John. Who could refuse? On November 22nd I talked with John for about an hour. He was at a Las Vegas hotel and was preparing for a seminar he was going to give that evening.
I did not want to ask John questions that would be a repeat of those on The Larry King Show. Nor did I want to delve deeply into his early childhood or reiterate his biography that can be readily found on his web site http://www.drdemartini.com/ . For those who have yet to experience his magic I will simply say that John is a millionaire. He is an international speaker, author and business consultant. He heads the Demartini Foundation and The Concourse of Wisdom School. According to his web site he was told at the age of six that he had a learning disability and would never read, write or communicate. John obviously walks his talk and creates ‘his’ own reality.
I was looking to focus on the issues I raised in my article about the show -- What has kept The Secret from being utilized by all? The principles upon which it is based can be traced to the ancient mystery schools of the Egyptian and Mayan civilizations. Why have only the few had access to this wisdom? Why is it coming to light now? What are the obstacles that seem to prevent all from creating a new life of happiness and harmony? My first question to John was whether or not there was a single moment in which he decided that the “normal” way of doing things was not right for him? Was there any particular person or book that altered his way of thinking and sent him on a new path of thought? John indicated that there was no single event or book that he would classify as the impetus for his personal transformation. Instead, over twenty years of study into philosophy and cosmology led him to discover a set of common concepts, ideas, laws and patterns that were universally accepted ‘truths.’ He said, “I devoured ‘ologies’ and any book that dealt with positive thinking.” At the age of 18 he read the works of Gandhi and decided to embark upon a self-monitored effort to change his own thought behavior. Four times a day he checked to see if his thoughts were more positive and he made every effort to make them positive. After two years he came to a startling conclusion that did, in fact, create his own paradigm shift. Over the two year period he discovered that his thoughts balanced between positive and negative thinking. Despite his efforts to always stay positive, over time there was always a balance. His conclusion was that the laws of the universe would always be fulfilled and that indeed, there is always a plus for every minus, every action creates an opposite reaction. He indicated by embracing both we are working in concert with the universe -- the key being how to find the benefits accrued from both sides of the coin. As a personal clarification let me equate this to the idea waking and sleeping. You may want to be on the ‘go’ all day and accomplish much, the plus side of life. You may then view sleep as negative since it interferes with your desire to do other things. We all know that it is during sleep that body regenerates itself and so what appears negative on the surface is actually beneficial. The same could be said for illness which is the body’s way of telling you that some aspect of your being is not in balance and needs correction. The dis-ease, as they said on the show, may appear negative but actually can become positive if one makes the effort to correct the imbalance and to prevent it from occurring again. John said that in every aspect of nature and in life there is the build up phase and the destroy phase and yet these phases also occur simultaneously. He said somewhere on earth it is winter, somewhere it is summer. Cities are being built and others are in decay. Life is a balance and the key is to discover how both sides of this building and destruction can be of benefit.
I asked John what he felt were the greatest impediments for people as they tried to use the principles in The Secret. In other words, for the average guy on the street what is going to prevent them from creating their own reality? John said that, ‘there are seven primary fears that immobilize people and the first one is the fear of breaking the moral and ethics of some spiritual authority…The subordination to perceived spiritual authorities and the fear of breaking the rights and wrongs, or morals and ethics of that (perceived authority) stops people.
The second one is the fear of not being smart enough, not having a degree, not having the intelligence and not being imaginative enough.
The third one is the fear that you’re going to fail at it. I don’t want to start because I know I’m going to be a failure.
The forth one is the idea that I won’t make money at it, it costs too much money or I’ll lose money doing it.
The fifth one is the fear of losing loved ones’ respect
The next one is the fear of somehow being rejected by the general audience, people in society. Are you crazy, what are you doing, this is stupid, and this is ridiculous.
Last thing is the fear of ill health, death or disease -- you don’t have the body to do it, the looks, the height or strength to do it, the energy, and the vitality.
And those seven fears make people lie to themselves about what they really want. They immobilize themselves.”
John went on to say that people set up fantasies that are not what they truly want and that are not aligned with the laws of the Universe. These fantasies will not manifest and then people get discouraged and go around discouraging others. And so the endless cycle of unrealistic desires dashed lead to the notion that people do not have control of their lives.
The issues was raised as to whether or not a person can just sit in a room and manifest their true desires without having to take any action. John indicated that “you have to work your butt off -- you’ll have no ass when you are done.” He said that you cannot only imagine what you want or just visualize it without taking any action to bring those desires into reality. When people ask him how he got where he is today he reiterates that he had to work his butt off also. The people that persevere are the ones that get results. He added that there is no doubt that when the mind is clear and precise and inspired this assists in the process but to visualize is a small piece of the puzzle unless accompanied by action.
THE SECOND PART OF THE INTERVIEW WILL DEAL WITH TOILETS, PRESIDENT BUSH, AND IMITATING MAY BE FLATTERY BUT BEWARE!

Means to Attract Abundance - Attraction Secrets to Live in Abundance
Are there effortless means to attract abundance? Most of us may have experienced lack or scarcity at one point or another in our lives. For some, this may even be a daily reality. But what if I tell you that you have the power to change that right now, that there are easy means to attract abundance? Yes, all you need to do is attract it appropriately. Apply the means to attract abundance below and start living the life you’ve always dreamed of.
First Means to Attract Abundance
Be grateful for what you have right now. Whatever it is that brings you joy right now or equips you to face the day like good health, family, friends, your job, or anything else, acknowledge it and be grateful. Write down all the things you feel grateful for. Do not stop until you feel you have exhausted your list. You might be surprised at just how much you actually already have right now.
This does not mean that you are to be contented by what you have right now and not desire for more. But feeling grateful will make you feel good and make you easily draw in more of the good things that are in your life right now, as well as better things.
Second Means to Attract Abundance
Believe that the universe is overflowing with great abundance. Yes, everything that you need, everything that you desire – the universe can give you, if only you believe. And not only to you, but to anyone who would just believe. In truth, the universe has more than enough supply for everyone to live abundantly. But because we believe or were led to believe that lack, scarcity, or even poverty is normal in life, this is what we get. If we refuse to limit ourselves and believe that health, beauty, wealth, copiousness, and all the good things in life to happen to us, we will truly live in abundance.
Third Means to Attract Abundance
Think and act abundant! Tell yourself everyday that you are living in abundance, right here, right now. And act accordingly.
For example, you can make daily affirmations like “I live in total abundance” or something more specific like “I am now happily enjoying, investing, and sharing my one million dollars.”
Do this everyday and you will soon draw people, things, situations and specific opportunities that will bring you abundance.
Fourth Means to Attract Abundance
Share. Abundance is a flow of energy. Once it reaches you, don’t just keep it to yourself – share it to keep it flowing. Keeping it to yourself will only prevent it from flowing freely – and, flowing back to you.
Give more of yourself and your wealth to others. Volunteer for a cause. Donate to your church or a charity. Or simply be there for people. Be ready to offer a smile or any kind of help to people who might need it. And the universe will respond and give you more.
These means to attract abundance are simply just ways of changing your mindset and preconceived notions so that you can begin to live in abundance you may have only imagined previously.

Self Help Anxiety Management Through The Art Of Gratitude
Folks with anxiety live in a different world almost to people without general anxiety. Because they are continually aware of their condition and continually internalizing everything, they can feel cut-off from 'normal' everyday life. They spend a good deal of each day mentally 'querying' how they are feeling; if they are feeling edgy, or, are they perhaps feeling a bit more confident, or, are they putting themselves in a position where they might have another frightening anxiety attack, etc.
The result of all of this is a cycle of anxious thinking and fear that perpetuates their general anxiety. What this means is that their mind isn't always as clear as it should be and so they look at their world from an 'anxious' perspective. This prevents them from experiencing the good things in and around their lives. They need to be able to move away from this 'anxious' thinking, where they concentrate nearly all their efforts on their mental anxiety, to a place where they can once again enjoy all that is good in their lives.
One way to do this is to switch your focus from your 'head' to your 'heart'. By switching attention from your head to your heart, you'll be able to dissipate your anxious thoughts and clear your mind. But how can you make that switch?...
There is a scientifically proven 'technique' that, when practised, can help you make the switch from your head to your heart. It is called 'the art of gratitude' and has been proven to alter your body's chemistry in such a way that it leads to a more peaceful mind and body. Tests have shown that it can improve stress and individual performance.
Here's the basics of how the art of gratitude works as a self help anxiety management tool...
1 - You start off by closing your eyes and then thinking about your heart. Move your centre of attention to your heart.
2 - Then imagine a lovely feeling of warmth coming from your heart. Keep on imagining this for a couple of minutes. Put your hand over your heart to help you focus there if you wish.
3 - Then start to think about something or someone in your life that you really (I mean 'really') feel an appreciation for; that you feel so 'grateful' for. It has to be genuine appreciation, because the greater the appreciation, the more you'll be able to feel and experience the warm sensation emanating from your heart.
4 - At this point you should be able to experience a positive change in your emotional state. You might even find yourself smiling again. Keep it going for as long as you can. There is no fixed rule. The objective is to get your awareness from your anxious thoughts into your body by establishing a link between your mind and your heart.
You will need to practice this technique, but each time you'll improve in it's use. Practice it daily, wherever you're alone. Once you become proficient you'll be able to make the switch in seconds. And the beauty of this technique is that you can use it whenever you feel caught up in a stressful situation to relieve the stress very quickly.
By sticking with this daily exercise you should see important improvements in the quality of your life and relationships.

Amp Up Your Power of Attraction with a Positive Mental Attitude
"No pessimist ever discovered the secrets of the stars, or sailed to an uncharted land, or opened a new heaven to the human spirit." - Helen Keller
According to the Law of Attraction, we are all creators, attracting into our lives whatever we focus on - whether we want it or not. In order to become a deliberate creator and attract what you do want rather than what you don't want, a good place to start is by choosing a positive mental attitude. With a positive mental attitude, you can attract whatever you desire - including financial abundance, joyous relationships and paradise health.
Attitude is Everything. Attitude is defined as a complex mental state involving beliefs, feelings, values and dispositions to act in certain ways. Attitude is a habit of thought, such as Life is hard or Life is fun. According to the Law of Attraction, our patterns of thought act as powerful attractors. Do you have limiting beliefs such as I can't / I'm not worthy / Nothing ever works out for me? Basically, any belief, thought, or attitude that restricts or disempowers you - any thought that feels bad when you think it - is blocking the natural flow of Well-Being that would otherwise be yours. As you uncover attitudes that are not serving your highest good, you can consciously choose thoughts that contribute to your happiness rather than undermine it. Our lives are expanded or limited by our attitude of what we believe is possible or not possible. My ten-year old neighbor loves the expression - It could happen! Without the slightest understanding of the Law of Attraction, he is transmitting good feeling vibrations and attracting good feeling circumstances. A shift in attitude about how life works transforms everything.
You Can Choose Your Attitude. Did you know that you can choose how you feel and what you believe? You decide whether to see your world as full or empty, positive or negative. Anything can be viewed as positive. Do you remember Pollyanna from the classic children's book or the Walt Disney movie? Pollyanna is a young girl who is adopted by her aunt after her father dies. As an orphan, she could have easily given in to sadness and negativity. However, she is determined to see the good side of everything. Through her relentless attitude of joy and positive expectation, Pollyanna transforms a dispirited town into a pleasant and healthy place. The lesson here is that, no matter what your situation, you can always find positive aspects by choosing to be cheerful and optimistic.
At the end of the book, Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, Chris asks his Dad if it's hard to take care of a motorcycle. Dad responds - Not if you have the right attitude. It's having the right attitude that's hard. Ah, yes - Attitude is Everything! Well, happily, as we choose Feel Good Thoughts over Feel Bad Thoughts, it gets easier to have the right attitude. With a positive mental attitude, Life is no longer hard. Life is FUN!
